 Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm.   Weekends 9am - 6pm.       Last orders 30 mins before closing time      
Access to the Reserve, 7am-dusk

Mon 30th Jan: Attenborough - Scaup x4[females on main pond],Stonechat and Grey partridge x2[Erewash field],Chiffchaff x2,Little Egret[Tween pond].

Sun 29th Jan: Attenborough - Bittern (flew over delta reedbed0 c1000, 4 Female Scaup main pond, 8 Goldeneye, 2 Bullfinches, c16 Siskins.

Sun 29th Jan: Attenborough [Erewash Field] - Little Egret flying along the Trent. No sign of any Short eared Owls, 6/7 Fieldfares.

Sat 28th Jan: Attenborough - Little Egret [Tween Pond and Clifton Pit], 4 Scaup on Main Pond, 5 Common Buzzard (south of river), Shelduck on works pond.

Mon 16th Jan: Attenborough - S.E.Owl[erewash field],Stonechat[sth of river,barton].

Mon 16th Jan: Attenborough NR - 3 Snipe, 20 Goosander, 4 Goldeneye, Bittern, Common Gull.

Sun 15th Jan: Attenborough - Redhead Smew[Tween pond],Bittern[delta hide],Corn Bunting[sth of river],Shelduck x2,Herring gull x2[church pond raft],Snipe[works].

Sat 14th Jan:
Attenborough [Erewash Field] - 4 Short eared Owls, female Stonechat, 1 Grey Partridge. Sat 14th Jan: Attenborough NR - 32 Goosander, 2 Snipe [Delta], Scaup [female - Main Pond],       Bittern [ 13:15 & 14:25 - Wet Marsh ]
Sat 7th Jan: Attenborough - Scaup x3[females,church pond,13.30],Also R.C.Pochard.Rook c250-300,in field over river,next to barton flash, 8 Goosander, Shelduck [works pit], Willow Tit, Marsh Tit[triangle feeder], 5 Short eared Owls [Erewash Field]; Bittern [16:32] + 2 Grey Partridge [Delta]

Fri 6th Jan: Attenborough - 2 Stonechats (male & female)[Erewash Field], 3 female Scaups [Tween pond], Snipe [Clifton pond from hide], Great Spotted Woodpecker on feeders [new hide], Siskin [Delta area], 2 Willow Tits [trees by Barton Island].

Tue 3rd Jan: Attenborough - Bittern[delta],Siskin c60[bund],Chiffchaff x6[sailing pit],S.E.Owl x2[erewash field],G.B.B.Gull[sailing pit]. Green Woodpecker (rear of Nature Centre)

Mon 2nd Jan: Attenborough - 2 Bitterns [roosted in Delta reedbed at 4:30pm], 3 Short eared Owls [in Erewash field at 2:40], c40 Siskin [near Delta gate]. 13 Golddeneye, Water Rail [good views in paddock at the back of Attenborough Church]

Sun 1st Jan: Attenborough - S.E.Owl[erewash field],R.L.Partridge x14,Corn Bunting C6,Buzzard[sth of river],Brambling[female,Delta hide],Scaup x2[main pond],Coal Tit.Herring Gull x9[church pond],Yellowhammer x6,Shelduck,Tree sparrow,Chiffchaff x5.

Attenborough - 28 Goosander, Scaup [female Main Pond], Red head Smew [Clifton Pit], Marsh Tit, 3 Short eared Owls [Erewash Field].
