Tuesday 27th March - Wheatear [male, shingle track Works pond], Cetti's Warbler [heard only, delta & large island on main pond], 3 Goosander [2 redheads], 21 Shoveler, 5 Gadwall, 2 Shelduck.
Monday 26th March - Cetti's Warbler [from the Bund, singing irregularly to 14.30 at least].
Sunday 25th March - Cetti's Warbler [singing, but typically elusive], 9 Goosander [River Trent - 7 female, 2 male], 2 Shelduck, Goldeneye [drake].
Saturday 24th March - Cetti's Warbler [singing, Delta area at 16:30], 3 Chiffchaff [in same area], 1 Water Rail, 2 Shelduck [over Beeston Marina]. Works Pit: Shelduck, 8 Shoveler, 3 Goosander. Delta Gate: 2 Willow Tit, Marsh Tit, Treecreeper. Main Pit: 4 Goldeneye, 16 Goosander. Clifton Pit: 35 Wigeon [over and west], 6 Goldeneye. Church Pond: 50 Sand Martin, 35 Shoveler. Erewash Field: 4 Skylark, 7 Meadow Pipit, Snipe. Tween Pond: Swallow [single at 17:22].
Wednesday 21st March - Cetti's Warbler [Bund area].
Saturday 17th March - Works Pit: 2 Shelduck, 14 Shoveler. Delta: Cetti's Warbler [showed briefly twice at 10:10 and still singing at 17:50], Chiffchaff, Shelduck. Delta Gate: Goldcrest. Main Pit: 21 Goosander, 20 Fieldfare. Tween Scrape: 2 Shelduck. Sailing Pit: 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Chiffchaff. Erewash Field: 4 Snipe, 2 Grey Partridge, 5 Meadow Pipit, 2 Skylark. 5 Common Buzzard, Red-tailed Hawk, Lesser Redpoll, 12+ Goldeneye.
Friday 16th March - Delta: Cetti's Warbler [calling at 13:00, the Bund], Chiffchaff, Shelduck, Merlin [female through]. Clifton Pit: 24 Shoveler, 4 Goldeneye. Main Pit: 3 Goldeneye, 11 Goosander [+3 over], 45 Fieldfare, 20 Redwing [feeding Barton side]. Tween Pond: 2 Shelduck [over].
Thursday 15th March - Cetti's Warbler [from the Bund, heard but not seen up to 10.30 at least], 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Treecreeper.
Wednesday 14th March - Cetti's Warbler [singing in the reedbed again and showing well at times], 1 Bittern [showing for a good 10 minutes at the Bund - same spot as the Cetti's Warbler].
Monday 12th March - Cetti's Warbler [vocal but difficult to view]. 7 Goldeneye, Egyptian Goose, Sparrowhawk, Shoveler, 7 Goosander, Teal, Gadwall, Green Woodpecker, Tree Sparrow, 8 Wigeon, 3 Shelduck, 50+ Grey Heron, Common Buzzard, Chiffchaff [several singing].
Sunday 11th March 2007 - Cetti's Warbler [singing on and off all day till dusk in reedbed scrub north of the bund], 1 Bittern [flew a short distance across delta reedbed], 3 Chiffchaff [singing around the delta area], 23 Goosander [Main Pond and Clifton Pit], 18 Goldeneye [mainly on Clifton Pond but also on Church and Main Ponds], 44 Shoveler [most on Clifton Pit].
Saturday 10th March 2007 - Oystercatcher, Cetti's Warbler [singing in the reedbed scrub immediately north of the Bund in the evening].
Sat 3rd March 2007 - Erewash Field: 2 Green Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 5 Linnet, Grey Partridge, 2 Stonechat, Skylark, Jay.12 Goosander [Cliton Pond], 1 Dunlin [on pools opposite side of Trent at Barton Village].
Fri 2nd March 2007 - Goldcrest, Egyptian Goose, 23 Tree Sparrow. Works Pit: 2 Shelduck. Sailing Pit: Chiffchaff, Blackcap. Erewash Field: 3 Goosander [river], 10 Skylark, 8 Meadow Pipit, Green Woodpecker. Plus - Red Admiral butterfly.
