 Monday - Friday 10am - 5pm.   Weekends 9am - 6pm.       Last orders 30 mins before closing time

Thu 25th May 2006 :   Attenborough -   Cuckoo flying towards reserve from the village early pm, 2 Little Ringed Plover and Drake Teal (Tween Scrape), Grasshopper Warbler (Reeling next to the bridge at the sailing club), Lesser Whitethroat, Whitethroat, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Sedge, Garden, Reed, and Willow Warblers all singing in good numbers around the reserve.

Wed 24th May 2006 :  Attenborough -    Hobby x2[over wet marsh],LRP x2,Buzzard x3,Teal.

Sun 14th May 2006 :    Attenborough -    Little Gull[1st winter ,moulting flight feathers,sailing pit 07.15],Dunlin x2 + LRP x2[works],Pair of Yellow Wagtails[tween],Shelduck x2.

Sat 13th May 2006 :     Attenborough -     Works Pit:- 2 Dunlins Little ringed Plover, Tween Pond:- Shelduck, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, Yellow Wagtail, Sailing Pit:- Oystercatcher, Barton Flash: Yellow Wagtail.

Fri 12th May 2006 :      Attenborough - Ringed Plover+LRP[Tween],LRP x2 + Dunlin[Works beach],Shelduck x3,Cuckoo,Yellow Wagtail x2.

Sat 6th May 2006 :       Attenborough - Drake Garganey[still on main pond],with Female Scaup and Turnstone.Cuckoo calling,LRP[tween],Shelduck x2.

Sat 6th May 2006 :       Attenborough - Garganey [Main Pond, nr the bund], Female Scaup [Main Pond], Turnstone [Main Pond -- on the tern platform -- possibly doing a cleanup job of the Cormorant's mess for the Terns.], 3 Little Ringed Plovers [Tween Pond], 2 Yellow Wagtails [Clifton Pit].

Sat 6th May 2006 :       Attenborough - 2 Grasshopper Warblers [Erewash Field-seen not heared] also just across the border in Derbys, Whimbrel & Common Sandpiper.

Fri 5th May 2006 :        Attenborough - Short-eared Owl on Barton side of river late afternoon.

Mon 1st May 2006:       Attenborough - Arctic Tern[main pond],LRP x4[tween],Shelduck x3[Tween],Brambling x6[old car park].
