Attenborough Nature Centre has been awarded the Gold award for sustainable tourism in 2007 and was listed in the top ten eco destinations in the world by BBC Wildlife magazine.

Opened by Sir David Attenborough in March 2005, Attenborough is a unique destination which seeks to engage and inspire people’s interest in the Natural World.

Enjoy a day out walking around the Nature Reserve with the family or attend one of our organised events.

Visit the award winning Nature Centre and have lunch in the café overlooking the lake. With a south facing balcony it is possible to sit outside to enjoy a hot drink and some of the café‘s specialties which are all home made and feature organic, fair trade and local produce.

Find a souvenir or a nature related gift in the Nature Shop.

Weekends 9am - 5pm with last orders at 4.30pm
Only closed on Christmas Day
