Directions to Attenborough Nature Centre
Walking / Cycling
The Reserve and Centre are easily
accessible on foot and by bicycle. Many visitors choose to arrive along
the excellent riverside path routes (from either end) and then up Barton Lane.
Cycling is permitted on these routes but not on all paths around the reserve.

By Bus
Trent Barton Bus Service Rainbow 5 between Nottingham Broadmarsh and Derby Bus Station runs regularly throughout the day (every 10 minutes or so). Attenborough is approximately 30 minutes bus ride from both Nottingham and Derby. Alight at West Point Shopping Centre and walk the 500m along Barton Lane.

By Train
Attenborough Station is 5 minutes walk from the reserve with a further 10 minutes to the Visitor Centre. There are approximately 15 trains per day make the 10 minute trip from Nottingham.

By Car
The Reserve is situated just off the A6005 between
Beeston and Long Eaton. Turn on to Barton Lane off the A6005 at McDonalds following the
brown tourist signs. The Car Park is situated at the bottom of Barton Lane.
