Monthly Nature Walks at Attenborough Nature Reserve
Find out what wildlife is around at Attenborough Nature Reserve by joining some of the wardens for a nature walk around the Reserve. No need to book. Please come dressed for the weather and wear stout shoes or boots. No dogs please.
10.30am start. Free
Come and join us for a wild night of star gazing and some wild activities about our night-time wildlife. Suitable for children aged 6yrs and over. Maximum of 2 adults per booking. Booking essential as numbers are limited. Look at the poster below or call the Nature Centre on (0115) 972177.
Wildlife Photography courses Jan, Feb, Mar & Apr 2014
Learn how to get the most from your digital camera in early 2014 by enrolling on one of our Wildlife Photography courses. This exciting activity gives you the chance to try your hand at photographing some of the abundant wildlife at Attenborough Nature Reserve. The session includes a briefing from an expert instructor, a supervised session in a bird hide and a chance to use some professional camera equipment. Please bring your own camera along too if you would like some tips and advice. Afterwards you will be able to take your images home on a CD.
The sessions lasts for approximately two and a half hours. The cost is £35 and booking is essential. Call the Centre on 0115 9721777.
