50th Anniversary Wildlife Event
Join us at Attenborough for 50 hours of wildlife watching, recording and surveying. To celebrate 50 years of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust we are holding a wildlife extravaganza and we hope to record at least 50 new species on this very special nature reserve.
From Friday 9th August to Sunday 13th August you can join us to celebrate wildlife. Come along to one of the free workshops but make sure you book to secure your place as numbers are limited. Apart from the formal courses there will be people on the reserve recording and surveying, come along and see what they are up to.
The cafe will be open longer for drinks and snacks over the weekend too, 8am - 7.30pm on both Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August.
The weekend finishes with a family event with pond dipping, nature walks and great wildlife craft activities.

Peregrine camera
View the Peregrine camera
Still streaming live in HD: a webcam featuring one of the UK’s most successful urban peregrine falcon population. Nesting has finished until spring 2013.
This year's popular Peregrine Cam was visited by over 700,000 times; eager viewers watched in amazement as Mr & Mrs Peregrine raised their chicks in a nest box in Nottingham city centre.
The camera provided the public with 24hr coverage of life in the nest, which sits almost 40m high on Nottingham Trent University’s iconic Newton building. The live webcam captured their every move, including egg laying, the hatching process, the chicks being fed and learning to fly.
