Erewash Field: 5 Stonechat [2 males, 3 females]. New Workings: Green Sandpiper, 4 Goosander, 2 Egyptian Goose, 2 Lesser Redpoll, 2 Yellowhammer. Clifton Pit: 14 Wigeon, 10 Goldeneye, 18 Shoveler, 2 Common Buzzard [Barton side]. Delta: Bittern [viewed well back in the reed bed & 200 yards along the Bund]. Works Pit: 16 Goosander.
