GARGANEY [eclipse drake, still present Clifton Pit, 18:03], 4 Goosander [Clifton Pit, 14:58], Marsh Harrier [over Wet Marsh, 09:37], 5 Black-tailed Godwit [Clifton Pit, 08:38].

Wednesday 12th Sep 2018

GARGANEY [eclipse drake, still present Clifton Pit, 16:44]. Also 4 Ruff, 2 Little Ringed Plover, Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, Peregrine.

Monday 10th Sep 2018

Red-necked Phalarope [juvenile on the Sailing Pit, 11:50, showing well but mobile by the island viewable from the visitor centre up to 15:00, when it got up and flew off with no further sign]. Also Hobby, 4 Ruff, Dunlin, Little Ringed Plover, 4+Common Tern [Clifton Pit].

GARGANEY [eclipse drake, still present Clifton Pit, 08:04], WOOD SANDPIPER [Clifton Pit, from tower hide 09:40 - 12:40, then flew west], Common Swift [through, 18:57].

Marsh Harrier [juvenile, through Coneries, drifting towards Gotham, 15:25, then over Branshill 15:41], 3 Ruff, 2 Common Sandpiper, 2 LittleRinged Plover, Common Snipe [Clifton Pit], Common Swift [over Visitor’s Centre].

MEDITERRANEAN GULL [adult over Clifton Pit, 19:07], Ruff, Green Sandpiper [Clifton Pit], 2 Hobby [circling high over the Wheatear field, 13:10], c.200 Blackbird [over in small numbers in an easterly direction, this morning].
