7.30pm - 10pm (Doors open at 6.30pm)
Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre, Retford

David Lindo - The Urban Birder
How to be an Urban Birder

David Lindo (aka The Urban Birder) explains the intricacies watching birds in urban areas. From finding a local patch, to channelling The Force to find birds, David is confident that you will eventually become a confirmed Urban Birder!

David has passionately promoted the virtues of birding in the urban environment at every opportunity, and especially through frequent articles in the birding press and on his appearances on television and radio. He was brought up in London and has been a birder all his life. His first book, The Urban Birder, chronicled his transformation from baby birder to a fully-fledged superstar of the urban birding world.

An Evening with David Lindo includes a talk, Q&A and a chance to meet David during a book signing. There is also time for a spot of tea and cake in our cafe.
Refreshments are available to purchase all evening.

This event raises funds for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust. All profits generated from tickets, books and refreshments go directly towards conserving wildlife in Nottinghamshire.
