George McGavin is best known for his BBC series The Incredible Human Hand, Prehistoric Autopsy and Monkey Planet. George is an entomologist, author, academic, television presenter and explorer.

Join George at The Idle Valley, Retford, for an evening talk, Q&A and a chance to meet George. During his talk "A World of Bugs" where he'll introduce us to his amazing work on insects throughout the world. He'll cover their biology, conservation and their importance in the world. After a break he'll take your questions and you'll have a chance to meet him at the end of the evening.

The Idle Valley Rural Learning Centre is situated on North Road near Retford and is well served by public transport. There is also ample parking at the centre. Postcode: DN22 8SG.
